Jung Seung-hyun (Al-Wasl), Park Yong-woo (Al-Ain), Kwon Kyung-won (Korpaka), Cho Yoo-min (Sharja), Kim Min-jae (Munich), Hong Hyun-seok, Lee Jae-sung (Mainz), Jung Woo-young (Unieon Berlin), Baek Seung-ho (Birmingham), Bae Joon-ho (Stoke City), and Hwang In-beom (Feyenoord), who are active in the Middle East stage, joined the national team in Kuwait, and 21 players performed their first training.

During the national team's first training session, "young blood midfielders" Lee Hyun-joo (Hanover) and Lee Kang-in (Paris Saint-Germain) arrived in Kuwait and moved to their accommodation.

Finally, when Son Heung-min (Tottenham), Seol Young-woo (Zvezda), and Oh Hyun-kyu (Henk) join the national team on the morning of the 12th local time, Hong Myung-bo will finally form a "complete body" with 26 players.

In the match against Kuwait on the 14th, the 26 Taegeuk Warriors will be able to focus on tactical training only for the last training scheduled for the 13th at Jabeur Al-Ahmed International Stadium.

Coach Hong Myung-bo believes that three players, including "captain" Son Heung-min, will be unable to hold full-fledged tactical training due to poor condition caused by long-distance travel.

"We don't have enough time. We see each other for less than 50 days a year," Hong said. "We have to prepare well in order for our team to rise to a high level within that time."
